Stroll the quaint shops in downtown, have a burger on the deck of the Harborview Hotel, walk to the lighthouse for gorgeous views, take the On Time ferry to Chappaquiddick and experience the serenity of the Mytoi Japanese gardens, take a class at The Farm Institute, and enjoy fine dining at Chesca's and ice cream at Mad Martha's!

Take in the action walking up and down Circuit Avenue, eat fried foods on the deck at Nancy's, enjoy a spin around the Flying Horses - America's oldest carousel - get fresh doughnuts in the evenings at The Back Door, take in a performance on the green, and toast your vacation at the Offshore Ale Company.

Visit the original Black Dog Bakery and Tavern, shop along Main Street, enjoy some fudge from Murdick's, tour the Martha's Vineyard Museum, navigate the traffic at Five Corners to visit the ducks adjacent the Tisbury Market Place shopping center, and hang with alpacas at the Island Alpaca Company.

Find it all at Alley's General Store, soak in the art at the Field Gallery, grab a local treasure at Chilmark Pottery, enjoy pizza and subs on the porch of the Chilmark Store, and experience a lovely meal at Lambert's Cove Inn.

Bring dinner and take in a sunset on the beach, try your hand at fishing from the rocks,  grab sandwiches at Menemsha Deli to bring on a hike along Menemsha Hills Trail, get fresh fish from Larsen's to prepare from home, and shop the antiques and boutiques.

Have breakfast with a view, climb up the lighthouse, learn about the island's Native American roots, and get a family photo with the cliffs in the background.
